Introduction

The right of privacy and protection of personal data is a priority in InterWorks. The principles for the protection of personal data of employees, customers, job candidates, course candidates, employees of suppliers, which are elaborated in detail in the privacy policies of the company ⋮IWConnect, are applied in the processes and policies of the company.

⋮IWConnect pays attention to the protection of personal data in all its business processes, implementing the standards set by the regulation for the protection of personal data in the Republic of North Macedonia.

In order to promote the established concept of privacy protection in ⋮IWConnect and to clarify the way we process the personal data of visitors and course candidates during their visit or registration on the website of the IW Educational Center , as well as when applying for the courses in our education center, we have developed this privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to your visit to other websites that you access through our website.

The policy of ⋮IWConnect includes that personal data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail and other personal data (the scope and categories of processed data may be different in each individual case, depending on the situation and the data subject) remain private and confidential. We do not sell or rent your personal information to others.

We only use personal information on legal grounds, such as: your personal information is necessary to carry out our obligations under any contract with you, or to comply with our legal obligations or our legitimate interests and/or on the basis of previously given consent which you can withdraw (in certain circumstances) at any time after giving it (as described below).

This policy applies to all visitors to the IW Education Center website, course candidates and describes important topics related to your data and their privacy.

Collection and use of personal data

What personal data do we process?

We only process your personal data if you voluntarily provide it by registering on our website in order to apply for a course, such as your contact information and your chosen course. In addition, if you request to receive information about the Education Services, or provide feedback about the Education Services, you will be asked to provide contact information so that we can complete your request.

For system protection, every time you visit our web pages, our web server temporarily registers your domain and workstation IP address, along with some other technical details about the session or the visit to the web page.

For what purposes do we collect your personal data?

We use your personal information to process your course application in order to continue the contract process. Your contact information will also be used to complete requests initiated by you from this website.

Your personal data will not be processed for any purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected. The processing of your personal data for another purpose can only be carried out on the basis of prior consent.

Legal basis for the use of your personal data

For the use of your personal data, as set out in this privacy policy, we take into account the following legal bases:

a) The use of your personal data is necessary to perform our obligations under any contract with you (for example, to fulfill and/or honor our mutual agreement to provide you with certain types of educational services); or

5) Provision of services to our customers, including course candidates, making payment and payment, to know the party to whom we provide services;

Children

We recognize children’s privacy and encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests.

Children cannot apply for a course on their own and the entire registration procedure, which includes offline activities, can only be carried out in the presence of a parent or guardian.

If the candidate who accepts this privacy policy is a child (under 18 years old), it should be accepted in the presence and with the approval of a parent or guardian.

Personal data protection

We may share your personal data with third parties where it is in our legitimate interests for internal administrative purposes (for example, the processing of contracts with course candidates by our processor who processes your personal data on our behalf) or in the event that you have given your consent to the use of your personal data from photos, video, audio and content marketing materials for our promotion (as described below in the marketing section).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may also disclose personal information about a user: (a) if we are required to do so by law, regulation or other governmental authority or otherwise in cooperation with an investigation by a governmental authority; (b) enforce our Terms of Service; or (c) protect the safety of users of our services.

Only authorized employees of our company have access to your personal data, they are obliged to keep your personal information, and are trained to ensure confidentiality and protection when storing and processing it. 

Storage of personal data

We keep this website information and personal data that we process on behalf of users for as long as is necessary to provide the services. We will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements with users and/or for the period of time required by law in applicable jurisdictions.

We will consider all such requests and respond to you within a reasonable period (in any case, within any period prescribed by applicable law). Please note that, however, certain personal data may be exempt from such requirements in certain circumstances.

If there is an exception, we will inform you about it in our response to your request. Before we respond to any of your requests, we may ask you to provide us with information necessary to establish your identity.

We reserve our right to use cookies. 

Cookies are used in order to maintain contact with the user through a session on the website. A cookie is a small file that your web browser software saves on your computer when you access our website. Cookies enable us to recognize an individual web user as he browses our website.

We may photograph, record audio, video materials, prepare content marketing materials such as blog posts, testimonials, during or after the completion of business and/or educational processes in which you may be engaged. In order to promote the company to third parties, on the social network profiles we own as well as the official website we own on the Internet, we may use such photographs, audio, video material or marketing material containing your personal data. For such purposes, we will always ask for your consent and you have the right to withdraw your consent through the contact e-mail educentar@interworks.com.mk, at any time and it is our obligation to stop using such materials.

Security 

Interworks is committed to protecting your personal data from loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, unauthorized access, unavailability and destruction and takes all reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality of personal data, including through the use of appropriate organizational and technical measures. Organizational measures include physical access controls to our premises, staff training and keeping physical files under lock and key in appropriate cabinets. Technical measures include the use of encryption, passwords to access our systems and the use of anti-virus software.

When submitting your personal data to us, your personal data may be transmitted over the Internet. Although we make every effort to protect the personal information you provide us, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. You hereby acknowledge that you are informed and accept that we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to our website and that any such transmission is at your own risk.
